About HITEX
Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Ltd., popularly known as HITEX, was established in 2003. It was one of the foremost purpose-built trade fair venues. The vision was to create a world class venue for organizing and hosting trade fairs and events. Digital Printing
- Digital printing is the process of printing digital-based images directly onto a variety of media substrates.
- Digital files such as PDFs or desktop publishing files can be sent directly to the digital printing press to print on paper, photo paper, canvas, fabric, synthetics, cardstock and other substrates.
Packaging
- Packaging is the science, art and technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale, and use.
- Paper, paperboard and laminates are converted into a variety of value-added packaging solutions for the food & beverage, personal & home care products, cigarette, liquor, quick service restaurants and consumer goods industries.
Corrugating
Corrugated packaging can be roughly classified into two processes:
- The containerboard combining process, which glues one or more sheets of fluted corrugating medium to one or more flat facings of linerboard.
- Box manufacturing process, which is used to assemble the corrugated sheets into boxes.
Rigid boxes
- Rigid boxes are a sturdy paper-based box consisting of high-thickness (often 2-3mm) chipboard, wrapped by decorative specialty paper.
- They are also commonly referred to as set-up boxes, gift-boxes and premium packaging.
- Rigid boxes are a premium packaging option commonly used for; Board Games.
Screen Printing
- Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.
- A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact.
- This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed.
LED Signage
Digital signage, sometimes called electronic signage, refers to display technologies like LED walls (or video walls), projection and LCD monitors to vividly display webpages, videos, directions, restaurant menus, marketing messages or digital images.
